Ambassador for Christ (Part II) - God is with us when we serve Him
Yesterday we had the Ambassador for Christ "refresher course" :) There was a sermon by Pr. Chin Ann Quek and also a review session...
My group attendance yesterday was 3/7 - 43% ha. We sat down together during the review session and discussed what we have done (nothing) and plans for the future. It was quite fruitful actually (if we do according to plans that is).
As to why my title for this Blog? "God is with us when we serve Him". We all know in theory that God is with us when we serve Him, but here I will like to say a really real example. This always happened. I wonder how many of you noticed that everytime during Baptism or tracting it always never rains. Even it it was raining just before, it will always stop during the baptism or tracting or other church works.
Yesterday after the session at Adam, we went for lunch and after that went tracting in Bedok. When we reached Bedok, everywhere was wet, it just rained. But it has stopped. So we (Brian, Mints, LY, Da Niu, Ernie, Wan Zhen) went through the blocks, we tracted for abt an hour, and after that went to the Bus Interchange. When all of us went home in buses or mrt, it started to rain heavily again.
Really a lot of times when we do church work, things like this always happened and this shows that when we are serving God, He is always there with us too. So next time when we are dishearten while serving Him, or feel that we are alone doing the work for Him, think abt this and know that He is always there with us.
