Youth Sports Day
Yesterday we had the Youth sports day held in PUB RC :) (ha I got go youth service) hee. Anyway, there were abt 30-40 youths gathered there.
We started the day with Captains Ball. I volunteered to be the “Goalie” the one standing on the chair to catch the ball :) haha, anyway my team won!! with so many good players in my team: Jon, Sheng, Shi, Edward etc and with me being the goalie, standing on the chair not many people can defend me coz abit hard to out jump me on the chair :) but it was a close game…
After that we have a volleyball game… there was 2 teams: opposition – En Jia, Shengzhou, En Hao, Jan Kee, Timon and Kynton. In my team it was – Me, Serene, Jon Kee, Timothy, Rachael and Xiong An. Of my team only Timothy knows how to play volleyball. The rest of us are playing it for only the first few times. The other team other then En Hao and Jan Kee, most of then do know how to play… Well I am proud to say we won :) haha, with lots of help from the umpire Han Hua :) haha. Well the other team was very “XIAO1 ZHANG1” like for example when they served, the rest of the team will sit on the floor because most of the time we could not return the serve…So how did we win? Han Hua was keeping the score, when the other team was leading about 19-3, we discovered that Han Hua counted wrongly, he was counting with the “service over format” which is the old format, the new rules do not have service over, every time each side win the ball is a point. So with that we started if 0-0 and my team went on to win 25-22 :) we had improved over the game to the extent that we are able to return the ball, many of it is basketball moves from Jon and me actually (though it was still with many help from the umpire :) hee.)… Well this proves that sportsmanship and teamwork will always win. Hahaha
After that we played basketball, by the time it was almost noon and we were all burnt by then. We again spilt into 2 teams: Opposition: Uncle Teck, Timothy, Han Hua and Enjia. My team was Shizhou, Jon Kee, Timon and me. Ha we won again :) but towards the end of this game, I was almost dead, I think it is the heat, hee, so the last few ball of this game, I was more or less just squatting or standing there like a statue trying to be an obstacle for the opponents :)
Conclusion:
- Madcow got go youth service
- I won all 3 games I played yesterday. Hahahaha.
Lessons learned: -
- Dun be too XIAO1 ZHANG1
- Dun play ball games at noon time!!!
