Choir Gathering
Had a Singapore choirs gathering @ Adam road last Saturday. There the program was dinner, short exhortation from Pr. Zhao, hymn presentation from the 3 choirs (TK, Adam, Sembawang) and then followed by games session.
The dinner was good, prepared by the Adam road choir (I think:) and the short sermon was very encouraging :) Hymn presentation: I felt that us the TK choir did not practice well enough. The hymns that Adam choir presented were very lively and joyful Sembawang choir is young and enthusiastic :)
Haha, the games session showed that the TK people are very “DAO” heehee. Why I say that, coz the people that “escape” from the game session were 95% from TK choir. Heehee. More then half the TK choir ended up having a “TK choir fellowship” over fruits and jelly at the kitchen :) hee.
All in all, it was nice to see that the choirs have now grown to so big, last time when there was only one combined choir, there was about 30-40 members. During this choir gathering, about 60 choir members presented in the hymns sharing, and there were still some who did not present or were not there, so there should be about 80-90 members :) Wow, thank God for His guidance that so many young church members joined the choir now :) hee.
Hope that all the 3 choirs will continue to grow and be able to serve Him better.

Yes I agree!! Most of the TK ppl just went to hide when it came to games!
Just imagine U plan the games and some ppl just went to hide, hard works not appreciated at all!
I want to cry!! :(
In that case can we strongly not have games for all choir fellowships to come? No sense of unity at all!!

haha, depends on what type of games i would think :)
Actually no need to feel unappreciated, God will remember your hard works.
The reason why TK people run away, i will think is because TK people are all basically "shy" people :) We are very uncomfortable with some activities etc. There is no intension to offend any people so dun feel unappreciated, it is just us...

Wah, TK people going under the fire now. Haha, i suspect there's a ring leader for the 'TK' fellowship though:) I don't know who planned the games la but if its me, i'll also be hurt lo. But never mind, at least the Adam and Semb people had fun!
haha. yah, games at 9pm of a long day can be very taxing especially for "old" people like me :)
on a serious note, there is not a need to study too much into this, there is no "ring leader" that say ok lets escape and all the underlings listened. Just conicidental that those who did not take part in that games are from TK, but if you noticed, off the 3 choirs TK has the most "old" people you know :)
