Entrust everything to the Lord

Recently a lot of things had happen to and around me and some of the decisions that i have made or am making are going to affected me greatly in the future, both my spiritual life and physical life.
So, much of my time recently have been spent thinking about these things, and also to certain extend worrying. Worries of what effects/changes these decisions will bring to me.

This lead to me think again the verse from the hymn "I know Who Holds Tomorrow" :
I don't know about tomorrow;
It may bring me poverty.
But the one who feeds the sparrow,
Is the one who stands by me.
And the path that is my portion
May be through the flame or flood;
But His presence goes before me
And I'm covered with His blood.

It tells me that my worries of what tomorrow brings are all uncalled for, because the One who feeds the sparrow is always standing by me and also His presence goes before me and therefore i should always face tomorrow without any fears.

Most of the time we always trouble ourselves with the worries and cares of this world. But has not Jesus once said that whoever that labors and are heavily ladenned can go to Him and He will give us rest? How many of us actually brings our troubles and worries to the Lord and fully entrust ir to the Lord?

I find that is something that i lack alot. Small matters, i would say lets not trouble the Lord, Big matter though we say we pray to the Lord to guide, how many of us actually fully entrust it to the Lord? We should learn from Hannah in the Bible. Hannah in her prayer entrusted all her sorrows to the Lord and after the prayer went to eat and was no longer sad because she knows that our God is one who answer prayers. Today, do we have this faith of Hannah, a faith that trust in the Lord and knows that if we hand everything to Him, He will gives us rest.

Please help me to pray that God will guide me in my path and also that i will learn to trust in the Lord in all the things that i do.

-Peace-
